Our Verisk Insurance Solutions business is seeking an experienced VP of Operations to join our growing team to serve as a lead in managing operations activities across multiple businesses in our ISO unit.  If you are looking for a new challenge with a growing and industry-leading company and have a proven track record of success with improving profitability through process improvement and operational efficiency, we want to talk to you!

About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role
  • Management of the operations for all of ISO; including Personal and Commercial insurance divisions
  • Work with Finance and Product Management to develop/amend annual operating/business plans and budgets to meet corporate defined goals.  These plans include the expense management of multiple functions including: Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Account Management/Customer Service, Implementation, Quality Assurance, and Operational Analytics departments. 
  • In addition to management of the above departments, additional responsibilities include development and management of hiring and staffing plans, third party vendors, software system recommendations, and continuous improvement plans based on our B2B Voice of the Customer.
  • Identify, develop, document, maintain, and improve operational procedures and policies to maximize profitability and production volumes.
  • Insure that all policies and procedures are compliant with ISO standards.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Product Management and key customer contacts to insure monthly revenue attainment along with increased customer intamacy.
  • On-board new customers in a timely fashion and ensure that new contracts turn into revenue quickly.
  • Increase overall NPS score for the division.
  • Work with the Underwriting Technology team to insure that applications are performing as expected and that we are meeting customer SLA’s.  Enhance existing applications to meet customer demand. 
  • Fully test applications prior to deployment from a user acceptance standpoint
  • Perform and Coordinate all Employee Evaluations within the Operations group on an annual basis.
  • Manage operations within the expense budget assigned at the beginning of each fiscal year.

About You
  • 4 year College Degree
  • 10+ years’ experience in operations management supporting customers in the financial services industry, demonstrating regular interaction with senior and operational level management
  • 5+ year’s second level management experience in operations.  (managing multiple teams encompassing multiple operations, across various remote locations for a single organization)
  • Six Sigma or Lean Management Methodology experience (ideal but not required)
