Verisk’s Enterprise Risk & Compliance team is seeking a self-starting  Sr Compliance Analyst – Privacy to assist in developing and implementing a General Data Protection Regulation compliance program and monitoring program.   

The day to day expectations of this role are:

•Assist in providing privacy support for international and domestic business units

•Conduct research on international privacy topics and laws

•Prepare documentation, reports and presentations analyzing privacy risk data

•Provide subject matter expertise in support of developing training presentations on international privacy topics

•Assist in the development and production of privacy communications

•Assist in the development privacy policies and procedures

•Create and maintain reporting templates for various privacy activities

•Conduct Privacy Impact/Compliance Maturity Assessment monitoring and follow-up with business units

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance field or equivalent, with demonstrated ability in compliance, privacy, regulatory compliance, risk management, government relations, training and education, and/or compliance auditing and monitoring. 

• Must have international privacy experience beyond GDPR. China Cybersecurity Law or APEC Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) System experience strongly desired.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, GRC Tool experience a plus

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across business units globally

• Strong written and verbal skills
