The Analytic Products division of ISO is responsible for the success of the ISO Risk Analyzer suite of strategic growth products.  This involves developing and delivering high performing predictive analytics from diverse data sources, evidencing value to stakeholders such as customers, sales professionals, and regulators, and ensuring seamless technological and implementation experiences across several lines of business (Auto, Homeowners, Businessowners, etc.).  The team is presently seeking an actuarial analyst with the passion to make an impact by addressing a diversity of challenging technical and non-technical responsibilities.




In this role you will be expected to:
  • Execute ISO Risk Analyzer models
  • Manage related internal, customer, and regulatory interfacing
  • Expand and enhance product suite, for example, by calibrating models to customer portfolios
  • Design and conduct experiments that evidence value of product to prospective customers
  • Present results of experiments verbally, visually, and in writing
  • Manage intake and processing of dozens of insurance and non-insurance data sources which serve as inputs to models
  • Monitor market developments related to products, and business case and prove concepts in response where appropriate
  • Develop creative content to promote awareness of solution


  • Critical thinking ability
  • Understanding and appreciation for nuance
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in quantitative discipline
  • Aptitude for programming in analytical languages (e.g. SAS, R, SQL)
  • Interest in predictive modeling
  • Verbal, visual, and written communication skills
  • Actuarial exam progress preferred
  • 1-3 years experience preferred
