Geomni, a division of Verisk Analytics, is looking for a Recruiter to join our rapidly growing team.  The Recruiters primary responsibility is to attract, recruit, hire and built the best Aerial Imagery team in the U.S.

As a Recruiter you will drive strategies and solutions from candidate sourcing to closing.   Your ability to successfully manage & prioritize positions against a tight timeline will make you successful in this role.  You will be expected to fill one requisition per day, to achieve the aggressive company growth goals throughout 2019.

As you develop in this position you will need to work well under pressure and be independent, yet collaborative, as you work closely with Hiring Managers and the HR team to ensure company positions are filled with top talent in a timely manner.

Additional Essential Functions include:
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to manage the full life cycle of recruiting top talent, including workforce planning, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, negotiating, offering, and on-boarding.
  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and understand their motivation.
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with Recruiting Firms for direct placement and contract roles.

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience (including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting) required.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Smart Recruiters (ATS) preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment preferred.
  • A commitment to diversity, and preferably, experience improving a previous employer’s diversity results via specific recruiting strategies.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Aviation Industry.
