Purpose of Role (“Mission Critical”):

To effectively manage assigned technology projects that have low to medium risk. This includes facilitating iterative feature discovery, delivery, continuous improvement, as well as management of project risks and issues in order to reliably drive business value to market.


• Demonstrated experience successfully managing and delivering projects to desired business value, or a desire to lead software development teams in a dynamic agile / cross-functional working environment
• Basic knowledge of project management methodologies
• An open mind and strong desire to learn and grow in the organization
• Willingness to effectively work with and optimize diverse skill sets, roles, styles, functional areas, and geographies
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Organizational skills, follow through, and attention to detail
• Exhibits a firm grasp of basic technical concepts


•Collaboration: facilitate collaboration amongst members of a project team and maintain alignment towards their goals.  Rally team members to identify activities required to meet their goals and maximize the team’s ability to achieve those goals.

•Communication: ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to ensure a common understanding of team activities across all project stakeholders and participants. Ensure team is communicating adequately, and facilitate identification and implementation of solutions that optimize team communications and flow of information.  Communications strategies are well thought out and documented. Develop partnerships with stakeholders and facilitate planning to ensure business goals are met. Manage risk and issues. 

•Continuous Improvement Mindset: fosters an environment and culture of continuous improvement, and inspection / adaption to maximize the potential of a project team.

•Negotiation: manages the prioritization / needs of the business and ensures the project team regularly delivers business value while maintaining a balance between scope, time, and budget.
