Job Description




      Bachelor’s degree in related technical field required

      PMP and or Second Level Scrum Master certification preferred (e.g. CSP, PSM II)
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods including Agile framework
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (JIRA) is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the teams
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Excellent people skills to improve team environment
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability



Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance to cross-functional teams with the purpose of delivering milestones outlined in the project roadmap
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives needed to meet system transformation goals including but not limited to the re-host, re-invention and buy vs. build decisions required
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Oversee and drive the efforts of multiple Scrum Masters, Scrum Teams, Subject Matter Experts on all associated activities
  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
  • Act as Liaison to 3rd Party vendor(s)
  • Elicit, Raise/Identify and help resolve projects’ high-level impediments
  • Prepare project metrics for PMO Director, IT AVP and stakeholders




  • Build on the analysis and recorded experience of similar projects to construct better quality estimates.
  • Coach the teams to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Liaise with other managers within the business and manage expectations for the Platform modernization project
  • Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining, maintaining the product backlog and prioritization techniques
  • Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example


  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.


  • Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
