ISO, a business of Verisk, is a leading provider of information and analytics to the insurance industry. We’re seeking a Product Specialist within Personal Lines Product Management line of business to work with sales teams with both technical and functional product support.

In this role, you will:
• Support sales efforts with product demonstrations and technical discussion for 2 or more products / service offerings
• Consultant with customer to create SOW for customization as needed
• Transition new customers from sales into implementation through production
• Minimize revenue recognition lag
• Research and recommend methods to Increased market share and accelerated revenue growth
• Identify and recommend enhancements for product improvement based on VOC and market needs
• Lead (with direction) prioritization of product enhancements (sprint direction and backlog grooming)
• Expert at the product “inner workings” (work closely with operations, development to understand the current state and functionality of the product)
• Point of contact for internal Verisk groups (e.g. data quality and support teams, account management) for resolution of issues or questions on functionality or other product questions

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an underwriting or product role with insurance company, vendor, or related
• Strong analytic aptitude required. Must be able to assess and address problems as well as understand detailed customer workflows in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic, revenue generating environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a professional demeanor. Must be able to communicate on a business and technical level.
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Sales & solution minded
• Experience with gathering and assessing competitive intelligence
• Ability to travel during initial training and then periodically (e.g. once per month) to Verisk offices, customers, business partners, and industry events

Preferred qualifications
• Familiarity with the auto P&C markets, Verisk products, and competitor’s offerings
• Experience working with remote team members
• Familiarity with tools such as: SQL and Tableau
• Project management experience
