Opportunity Overview:

Argus Information and Advisory Service offers a year-long internship program geared toward highly motivated juniors or seniors interested in learning more about Human Resources in the financial services and consulting industry. The opportunity requires a 15-20 hour/week commitment during the fall and spring semesters and the opportunity to work 40 hours/week during the summer and school breaks.

Responsibilities Include:
  • File New Hire employee paperwork, employee applications, and affirmative action forms
  • Maintain employee reporting files (ie. PTO days, Work Authorization, Active Employee log)
  • Review resumes and applications from Applicant Tracking System
  • Update job postings on school websites, research new campus recruitment initiatives
  • Assist with scheduling phone and on-site interviews, facilitate interviews as needed
  • Coordinate with recruiters for on-campus recruitment efforts
  • Assist with New Hire Training including scheduling, set up, collecting feedback forms
  • Research new employment legislation, best practices, employer engagement initiatives
  • Assist with benefits initiatives, i.e. wellness program
  • Create flyers for employee events


Qualifications Include:
  • Must be a junior or senior  currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field within 25 miles of our office in White Plains, NY.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Must be a team player, energetic, and have a tremendous work ethic
  • Prior office work experience is a plus
