Position Summary

Verisk’s Human Resources team needs a temporary HRIS Analyst to analyze, design, and maintain the human resource management system (HRMS).  In this role you will be the technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.  If you’re interested in gaining exposure to a variety of projects, if you excel at building and fostering client relationships and you desire to expand your professional career while working in a collaborative environment, we want to talk to you!

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR system updates and/or functionality enhancements.  Gather/documents business requirements and results.
  • Responsible for maintaining PTO plan administration and annual PTO cross-over; Generate quarterly and year-end Time and Labor audit reports to ensure data accuracy.
  • Partner with other HR teams to conduct regular data audits and implement validation measures to ensure data integrity.
  • Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of processes, systems and reports.
  • Enhance reporting through the design of dashboards and other data visualization techniques to enrich management's understanding of and access to key metrics.
  • Serve as a liaison between functional areas to resolve system and process issues.
  • Write and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports as requested.  Standard reports include but not limited to:  Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1 and VETS-4212.

To qualify for this position, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. PHR/SPHR/GPHR/CCP preferred.
  • 4 years PeopleSoft HRMS analysis and reporting experience. Experience with compensation, benefits and time reporting required.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and MS access skills.
  • Familiarity with the Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Must be detail oriented. Excellent analytical skills. Good oral and written communication skills.
