As Head of Anti-Fraud Services (Europe), your key outputs will be:


• Take overall control of the Fraudstar and Fraudstar Central development and deployment initially across the UK – then further afield.

• Through Fraudstar establish Verisk as a significant player in the UK and European anti-fraud industry.

• Distinguish the Verisk offering from others in the market place by using the rich data from the other business units.

• Direct the development of the Verisk systems so that it keeps pace with the ever-changing needs of the anti-fraud market.

• Liaise with Verisk US anti-fraud teams and data and analytics team to take advantage of US knowledge and developments such as the “ultimate fraud score”

• Understand the available market data and connect Verisk via partnerships to vendors of N+1 data that would make the Verisk offering better

• Where possible identify potential M&A targets that would strengthen the Verisk Insurance presence in the UK and Europe  

• Build and manage the UK/Europe anti-fraud support team so that it meets the needs of customers and continues to retain and grow the current business.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree level education or significant market experience

• 15 plus years in anti-fraud services within the UK and the European Union. 

• Deep knowledge of the anti-fraud market place and the service providers within it is required. 

• Extensive prior working with insurers and other organisations in the claims sector is essential.

• Recent knowledge of data and analytical techniques in the anti-fraud space such as predictive modelling.

•  Significant travel to Verisk locations, to industry events, to see customers, prospects and partners is expected.
