The role will require a combination of self-delivered initiatives and collaboration with external training providers and optimization of technology empowering our people to shine. You will serve as a champion for new development solutions; articulating relevance to business strategy and objectives.



  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to be able to identify current and future learning and development needs in support of business objectives and constructively challenge as a trusted business partner
  • To define, implement, embed and measure a strategic learning plan with key stakeholders
  • To manage, grow and develop the learning team on a day to day basis and management of other service line resources and business critical projects
  • To manage, drive and report on the Learning budget process and ensure the planned curriculum is managed within the agreed budget
  • To project manage the design and development of new bespoke programs
  • To promote best practice adult learning techniques, instructional design and learning objective setting with a blended learning mind set at all times
  • To manage external suppliers and procurement in accordance with policy
  • To manage and utilize our learning systems to effect behaviour and cultural change
  • To remain current in the learning industry sharing knowledge and expertise for the benefit of all



Must Have Requirements 
  • Between 5- 7 years in a fast paced learning environment in a similar role
  • Experience of using a variety of learning platforms and solutions
  • Experience of effectively operating in a global team across time zones
  • Experience setting and delivering a learning strategy across multiple business units 
  • Experienced learning professional across the full learning lifecycle (Learning Needs Analysis, Instructional Design & Development, Solution implementation, Facilitation, Evaluation) and demonstrated ability applying this to a wide range of development activities 
  • Highly experienced and competent facilitator 
  • Experienced across a blend of learning delivery methodologies (classroom, e-learning, webinars, online, MOOC’s etc) 
  • Experience in budget management and maintenance of an annual budget cycle 
  • Experience working across an integrated learning, talent and HR function


  • Proven team leadership and management skills and ability to create a high performing, motivated, supportive and collaborative team environment 
  • Excellent stakeholder management, challenging and influencing skills (ideally across functions, industries and geographies/cultures) and experience in building consensus across diverse teams 
  • Experience managing end-to-end talent projects (Project Management)
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to address diverse organisational stakeholders at all levels 
  • Strong financial management / commercial acumen 
  • Qualified coach (desirable) 
  • Qualifications in psychometric assessments (desirable) 
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, creative and driven
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management
