Verisk, a Best Places to Work award winner, is currently hiring an innovative Director of Talent Activation & Engagement Operations to lead the team which drives employee engagement for our 8,000 people across our 30 offices.  In this role, you’ll work with the executive team, business leaders, and colleagues across the enterprise to create and implement campaigns which enrich our people and achieve our corporate objectives. 

The successful role holder will create and connect “big picture ideas” to “on-the-ground” implementation through empowerment of our business units and offices, allowing for organic implementation of ideas which match the local culture and needs.   

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work with your colleagues to create programs to improve all aspects of our employee experience and enrich peoples’ lives

• Help architect an industry-leading employee life cycle and job candidate experience

• Plan and implement employee programs and events across our 30 worldwide offices and business units

• Manage budgets and expenses for initiatives, maintain documentation and metrics for campaigns and events

• Lead a creative, high-performance team which exceeds expectations through creativity and operational excellence

• Plan and execute large events, networking events, games/contests, charities, etc.

• Develop employee engagement metrics, serve as a key point of contact for tracking progress on relevant metrics and reporting details to the team and senior leadership.

• Interact daily with employees to answer questions and facilitate issue resolution; You will be a champion of people

• Coach and guide team leads and managers to help build and maintain high-performing teams
