As Contracts Associate you will:

• Review, negotiate and draft contracts and standardized templates pertaining to new products, product supplements, new master agreements, premier agreements, etc.

• Effectively partner with the Law department to ensure successful negotiations, resulting in effective agreements which have properly mitigated risk.

• Act as advisor on requirements, workflows, processes and implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management system

• Manage relationships with Customer Service, Sales, Finance and others to implement and improve contract processing workflows including tracking within CRM.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or other advanced degree strongly preferred

• 3-5 years experience with contract management including drafting, revising and negotiating

• Solid understanding of contract law, contract language and principles, and applicable legislation

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and work proactively with Law Department, business unit, customers, and Sales

• Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail

• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information

• Strong organization, effective planning, problem solving, and analytical skills required

• Superior communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to liaise comfortably with all levels of management

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations or urgent requests that may arise with little or no notice

• Must exhibit initiative and assertiveness in obtaining information needed to proceed with projects and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
