Role Description

Accountable for supporting large scale system and application monitoring solutions. This position involves mastery of technical monitoring tools, and the introduction and on-boarding of new automation solutions.

  • Ownership of application and environment monitoring ecosystem
  • Configure alert thresholds and support teams on-call to eliminate false alarms
  • Respond to alerts and work with application support team to resolve quickly
  • Introduce and on-board new monitoring and automation solutions into the environment
  • Stay abreast of latest technical tools that can enhance our environment

Skills and Knowledge
  • Must have passion for technology and automation
  • Responsible and Dedicated to react appropriately to alerts at all times
  • Mastery of New Relic suite of products
  • Knowledge of AWS products and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in application and environment moniotring
  • 2+ years of experience using New Relic suite of products (APM, Insights, Infrastructure, Synthetics)
  • 1+ year of experience configuring and administering PagerDuty
  • Knowledge of AWS concepts and tools
  • Gifted technical problem solver who embraces challenges
  • Skilled at managing Cloud server sprawl
  • Self-driven individual with strong written and verbal skills
