Job Title: Administrator, Research Americas

Reports to: Senior Research Manager, Americas

Location: Houston, TX

Role Purpose 

Coordinates administrative, program, and office activities. Establishes, selects, implements, and coordinates office procedures and systems. Serves as principal source of information to team members on policies, procedures, programs, and office activities. As an integral member of an open, dynamic and innovative team, the Administrative Assistant is at the center of our Americas Research Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-level administrative assistance for all administrative procedures, tasks, and activities associated with the Americas Research Team
  • Please note that this is a Fixed Term 90-day contract with the option to be hired on full-time based on need and performance.
  • Develop relationships with wider administrative support team
  • Coordinates travel arrangements and T&E.
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings and appointments.
  • Performs additional functions incidental to office activities.

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Two years of related work experience and a high school level education.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and demand for quality
  • Good organization and planning skills with the ability to manage tight timelines
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, WORD, and Outlook
  • The ability to work as part of a team involving multiple locations and time zones
  • Ongoing involvement outside the immediate unit.
  • Balance a wide variety of complicated job tasks requiring coordinating numerous processes/methods.
  • Offers or obtains specialized information and provides assistance on complex matters.
  • Regular sustained concentration.
