Position Summary:

Verisk Analytics is in search of a high energy administrative support professional with exceptional attention to detail. This position is based in our Austin, Texas Regional office.

Major responsibilities of this role are:
  • Preparing documents and reports using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access for submission to State and Community officials and for internal use.
  • Organize, maintain and file electronic and paper documents, including electronic submissions from Fire Departments.
  • Routine follow-up on letters and the retrieving of documents of authority
  • Process of incoming/outgoing mail and packages, distribute as directed
  • Order office supplies, as needed
  • Assist with telephone coverage
  • Provide support to management as needed, including creation of Excel reports and other documents.
  • Meet critical due dates with accuracy
  • Provide assistance to our Field Representatives in Texas with Needed Fire Flows
  • Communicate daily with our National Processing Center, QC Analysts and Field staff on items in workflow and other inquiries.
  • Support in-house Quality Control process and workflow on a daily basis

The qualified candidate will bring to the team:
  • 3-5 years' experience in an administrative role supporting management.  Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree strongly desired but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving and follow-up skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Experience creating and maintaining documents
  • Effective interpersonal and listening skills, telephone etiquette
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • High level of motivation, integrity, self-confidence and the ability to take initiative, collaborative team player with a proactive approach. 
  • Strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines and driving project completion
