 Account Executive                                                                   

 Summary of Responsibilities:

Duties: A National Account Executive at Xactware is responsible for developing new sales revenue, servicing existing large accounts, and cultivating strong customer relationships.  In this professional key position, the Account Executive will be involved in all phases of the sales process from the initial contact of the client, through the sale and implementation of products and services. The Account Executive will also work with internal groups and project managers to help coordinate the overall product offering and service for customers and potential customers.

 

Essential functions:

 
  1. Develops new sales through various contact methods.
  2. Cultivates existing accounts for relationship and revenue development.
  3. Possesses strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
  4. Demonstrates the functionality and benefits of multiple software and web-based products.
  5. Available to travel as needed in the U.S.
  6. Works closely with Senior Management, product development, and training teams.
  7. Works effectively with minimal supervision.

 

Job Qualifications:
  1. BA/BS in business or communications related field and minimum 5 years large account sales experience in a software environment or other directly related experience.
  2. Possesses strong written and oral communication skills.
  3. Excels at problem solving and professional presentations, including presentations in front of large groups.
  4. Excellent organizational and meeting skills.
  5. Outstanding interpersonal skills including relationship building, responsiveness to emails, and voicemail communications, and professional demeanor.
  6. Excellent negotiation skills.
  7. Dynamic, team player with a track record of success.
